WHAT DOES THAT BELIEVE GETS YOU?
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”- John 3:16
What you believe in secures one thing or the other for you.
From our opening verse, salvation is been introduced to man to secure (get) eternal life for man. That salvation will save any man in the world from perishing and gets eternal life to such man.
That salvation is believing on Jesus Christ; Gods first begotten son, that came to die for the sins of all to redeem all back to God. When you believe and confessed this about Jesus as your only Lord and Savior, then you will be saved. Eternal life (everlasting life, the God life, the same life that Christ has) and all that surrounds it (righteousness, redemption, divine nature and many others) will be the reward of such man, just because He believed in Jesus Christ.
All other things or person that people believe in will get them something as well. Check and think on what you believe in, does it gets you eternal life? The life of God, the only life that can give you the right standing and fellowship with God. Does it get you eternity of fellowship with God in His kingdom? If it does not and will not, then follow the one that will, by identifying with Christ.
Jesus is waiting to receive you into the kingdom of God and get you eternal life- the everlasting life that gives you fellowship with God.
Just believe in Jesus Christ in your heart and say it with your mouth that He is the son of God, he died for your sins and rose up again for your redemption.
DECLARATION: Thank you God for the gift of salvation in Christ, that has gotten me eternal life.
