Following the successful release of her debut single ‘Changed Me’, rising star gospel artist Victoria Tunde is back with her second single ‘Lost for Words’ featuring the US based worship artist Osby Berry.
Captured live in London at her recording event ‘The Awakening Live 2019’, Lost For Words is a stirring and emotive contemporary worship song with powerful and convincingly heartfelt vocals from both Victoria and Osby. The musical arrangement is purposely simple but undeniably infectious with a driving electronic guitar feature that grips the listener and doesn’t let go.
Written in 2017 when after 30 years since her passing, Victoria was preparing to visit her mothers burial ground in Nigeria. It was in this season that the singer/songwriter took the time to contemplate on the grace of God.
“When it felt like all was against me – it was God. Thinking back over my life, from the age of 6 when my mother passed, I am literally lost for words. How He kept me, how He has protected me, how He has led me.”
Hailing from Cincinnati, USA – Osby Berry shot to international attention when his version of Hillsong’s ‘So will I’ went viral and gained millions of Youtube views. He is a member of Cross Worship; a collection of worshippers that travel to spread God’s goodness through song.
When asked why she wanted to collaborate with Osby Berry on Lost For Words, Victoria said:
“I wanted a song that would allow his worship to come through and I felt that the differences in our voices would really complement each other. Lost For Words is like a heart-cry and I knew we would both connect with it passionately. It was honestly an honour to worship with him at ‘The Awakening Live 19.”
Produced by Michael Idowu, Lost for Words will be released with a live music video on YouTube and will also be available to download and stream on all major platforms.
