In celebrating her 50th anniversary as a solo recording artist and a career that spans over 60 years as one of the most recognized names and voices, the Reigning Queen of Gospel Shirley Caesar stands tall and committed to her journey as a humanitarian, entrepreneur and internationally-renowned gospel singer, songwriter, author and pastor. With more than 40 recorded albums to date, 11 GRAMMY® Awards, 14 Stellar Awards, 18 Dove Awards, and induction into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, Shirley Caesar is enjoying the results of the labor. Her famed hits include: “No Charge,” “Hold My Mule,” “Jesus I Love Calling Your Name,” “I Remember Mama,” “He’s Working It Out For You.” Her new album “Fill This House” includes songs such as “It’s Alright, It’s Ok”(featuring Anthony Hamilton), and “Mother Emanuel,” and was released by the label Light Records/Entertainment One on June 3, 2016.

The Durham, NC native began her career recording at the age of 13 as “Baby Shirley.” When gospel legend and leader of the Caravans Albertina Walker became aware of the electrifying singer and performer as a college student, and asked her to join, Caesar halted her studies to perform with the Chicago-based group for eight years.

Caesar officially went solo in 1966 and became a legendary mainstay when her gospel version of the number one country hit “No Charge” crossed over to the R&B and pop charts in 1975.

She has performed for numerous world leaders including every U.S. President since Jimmy Carter and Nelson Mandela, and performed on Broadway, film and TV. Beyond her musical ministry, Caesar has remained deeply committed in serving the Durham and Raleigh, NC communities, as pastor of Mt. Calvary Word of Faith Church in Raleigh, NC for over 20 years. She has been offering community assistance to those in need through her Shirley Caesar Outreach Ministries for over 40 years, and served on the Durham City Council for four years between 1987-1991.

Christopher Gray is a multi-cultural musician, songwriter, producer, and recording artist. Being the 6th of seven siblings, he comes from a very talented family of singers and musicians. Christopher was born and raised in the inner-city part of Jackson, MS USA. Through the hard times and struggles with poverty, Christopher often remembers one of the most significant days of his life when his mother sought out to invest in it. She purchased for Christopher and the rest of his siblings a portable keyboard with all kinds of tunes in it from various cultures. This was the start of destiny for him. During his early years, he began to write and compose various works. He received a great deal of recognition from music programs at the schools he attended from elementary school to the collegiate level. Not knowing that he would one day be a singer, he always considered himself “just a pianist,” in which he was pretty good at. Since he was a little boy, Christopher took voice lessons not knowing exactly why he was doing so. It wasn’t until later in his young adult life that he found himself in the struggle of his life: Christopher found himself in a state whereas he couldn’t keep a job secured and it left him in a state of feeling lost in the wilderness. One day he found grace with the Lord, who opened his eyes to his purpose in life. Christopher began to lead the praise and worship services at his church, in which he played the piano and sang. Christopher developed as a singer very quickly and soon after began to work on his first solo album, So You Can Receive, which is in stores now. Since then he has released 1 single, I Need You, which is also available on iTunes. More music is to come from the mass musician! More to come!

TIM GODFREY AND THE EXTREME CREW PREPARES LIVE IN CONCERT FEATURING MARVIN SAPP AT THE DOME AUDITORIUM

Nigerian gospel artists Tim Godfrey celebrating a lift from glory to glory, with the GRAMMY AWARD winner MARVIN SAPP by seting up alive concert first of is kind in Nigeria.

This is a great visitation of Marvin Sapp to our country Nigeria, ministering live at the DOME Auditorium. this program is titled FEARLESS

The concert is said to feature other Nigerian gospel artistes, and will take place on Sunday, 3rd of July, 2016, at The Dome, Freedomway, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. With the red carpet by 4pm, the concert kicks off officially by 5pm.
