Take the First Step

The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].

Psalm 37:23, The Amplified Bible

God’s will is to lead you on a day-by-day basis. He’s given His Spirit to guide you every day.

Most believers don’t know that. They expect God to reveal His complete will for their lives in one big revelation. Don’t make that mistake. Don’t just sit around waiting for God to show you whether or not He wants you to go to Africa for the rest of your life.

Let Him begin to lead you in little things first, to tell you what you need to do about this situation or that one. He’ll show you what you need to change. And, as He does, you’ll change one thing at a time.

The truth is, you probably already know one thing God wants you to do. You might not know why He wants you to do it. You may not know where it’s leading, but you’ve heard His voice in your heart.

If you want to keep on hearing Him, you’ll have to set aside your own ambitions and desires. Spend time in prayer and in the Word. Tune your ear to the voice of His Spirit.

Learn to trust Him. Remember that He’s smarter than you are and be willing to do what He says whether you can understand it with your mind or not. Obey even His smallest instructions. If you do, He’ll eventually change your whole life…one little step at a time.

LET THE BLOOD SPEAK

“And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel”- Hebrews 12:24

When you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, you were identified with Him. At that point it is said concerning you that you have come to Jesus. And as part of the benefit of coming to Jesus is that you are a partaker of the new covenant, with Jesus being the mediator.
The seal of this new covenant is the blood of Jesus. This blood of the new covenant is of great benefit to you as a believer. A lot was included and settled in this blood of Jesus.
In the blood, your sins were washed away once and for all.
In the blood, you have a new life which has been delivered from sin to a life of holiness.
In the blood, you were made righteous and conferred with the gift of righteousness.
In the blood you were conferred with redemption from all the works of the devil to everything that has to do with the life of Christ.
In the blood, you were drawn near to God the father to be in His presence all the days of your life.
In the blood, you were made to be a carrier of the Holy Spirit, the same spirit in Christ, to serve as your life.
In the blood, you were made a member of the body of Christ, to be hid with God in Christ. Same thing that runs in Christ now runs in you, you are now a partaker of Gods divine nature.
The blood was shed for you to be included in Gods grace (unmerited favor) of blessings in Christ Jesus
The blood is of great benefit to you and it is sufficient to deliver unto you as you acknowledge God for it (know, believe and thank God for it).
The blood has been shed already, meaning the devil has lost the victory over you in all that the blood can do, you are now an overcomer by the blood of Jesus.
Walk in this victory and liberty at all time, don’t give in to the lies of devil that is against the finished works of Jesus by the shedding of the blood. When the devil shows up with thoughts, imaginations and condemnations against the doings of the blood, simply react by letting the blood speak. The blood is speaking when you believe, confess and rejoicing at the finished works of Christ. Let the blood speak.

DECLARATION: Father, I thank you you for the precious blood of Jesus that was shed for me, thank you for the benefits of the blood is mine.

GOD HAS GOOD THINGS FOR YOU

“For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly”- Psalms 84:11

There are some characteristics attributed to God in the opening verse and those characteristics makes God capable of doing some things revealed in our opening verse.
God is a sun and shield, he gives grace and glory, also, He doesn’t withhold any good thing from them that walk uprightly.
Our focus this morning will be on the truth that God won’t withhold any good thing from those that walk uprightly (righteously).
Are you righteous (identified with Christ)? If Yes, then you have the power to walk righteously. With this, you are included in Gods plan of been satisfied with good things. Anything that can be classified as a good thing pertaining to life and godliness, with heavenly and earthly relevance, you are qualified for it with God. God has plans in satisfying you with such. God doesn’t want to withhold them from you at anytime. As you need them, he wants you to have them. Don’t have a carnal view about God that because you don’t have a good thing physically now, He doesn’t want it for you or He is withholding it from you. If He could empower you to be righteous by the sacrifice of His son Jesus Christ, why should He withhold any other good thing from you? If He gave up His son Jesus Christ as a seal of your redemption and salvation, then what good thing can He not give you?
Don’t give in to the lie of the devil, are you in Christ? If Yes, then the Lord is your shepherd to cater for you. He is your father to satisfy you.
Please reinforce your trust in the Lord by your full faith and acknowledgement in the word to meet your needs in all good things. Don’t write yourself off in having any good thing.
Focus on God, the owner of all and all good things shall be added unto you.
I see all your need for good things been met in Jesus name.

DECLARATION: No good thing will the Lord withhold from me, He is my shepherd and my father, Amen

GODLY IMPACT FOR TODAY (Monday, July 25, 2017)

SECRET TO JOSEPH PROSPERITY

“And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian”- Genesis 39:2

The man Joseph was a blessed, successful and prosperous man. But before his prosperity, there is a secret about his prosperity that was revealed in our anchor scripture. It was said about Joseph that the Lord was with him. The Lord was with him and he prospered.
If the Lords presence brought prosperity for Joseph, it will do for any man, as the Lord is a just God, He’s the same unto all that fears Him.
Prosperity is in the Lord and if you are in the Lord, the Lord is with you, you have what is in the Lord.
The Lord is with those that have identified with Jesus Christ as their only Lord and savior and this has placed such people under the blessings of the Lord. If you are identified with Christ, be conscious of it that the Lord is with you, even as I’m writing this, His presence is so mighty and manifest here, so it is with you over there.
It was even said that Joseph prospered in the house of His master, the Egyptian. This tells us that when the Lord is with you, you will always prosper anywhere you work and with whom you are working for. The blessings and prosperity is not a matter of your work, it’s a matter of the Lord being with you as a result of Christ finished works. When the Lord is with you, anywhere you go to, He will be there with you and see to your success. In fact, when He is with you, He will cause you to be at the right place, at the right time and with the right people.
The Lord is with you as you work today at your place, be conscious of this as a believer, practice the consciousness of His presence, by giving thanks to Him always for being with you. Don’t let things around distract you from believing and knowing that the Lord is with you, in fact it is when things are not fine physically, that you should acknowledge his being with you, because He’s always with you. As the believer, you are the righteousness of God in Christ, you are before God and God is before you, even at this moment. Just see Him in your spirit, with your mind and it will manifest outside. Oh! I see mighty success and prosperity coming your way, because God is with you in Christ.
Enjoy the presence and the benefits of the presence.

DECLARATION: The Lord is with me so I prosper in all my doings. Thank you Lord.

GODLY IMPACT FOR TODAY.

GOD IS THINKING OF YOU

“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?”- Psalms 8:4

God is mindful of every man, in other words, His heart(thinking) is towards them. Man is after Gods heart. This is the extent of Gods love and care towards man.
You may say, Sir, you mean even in my sinful, faulty and good for nothing state, God is mindful (thoughtful, thinking) of me? Certainly yes, He is, because His word reveals that, He is mindful of man, note the word man. The question is are you man (human being)? If yes, that settles it, if you are man (human being), either the male or female specie, God is mindful of you.
God is not someone that is limited or incapable. If He made man, then He has good plans towards man for His sustainability. To show that God is mindful of man is seen in how he created things in the natural environment that surrounds man (atmosphere, weather, foods, physical features, minerals) and how these things works and still working for man’s use to be comfortable and enjoyed, they are serving man to the fullest.
To also show that God is mindful of man, is how he came to the world in form of man, The man Jesus Christ, to die and resurrect for the redeeming of all men to Him from the eternal destruction of the devil. And when Jesus Christ did this with His blood and cross, He sat down at the right hand of the father, to do the work of intercession for men to be saved and also advocate for the saved ones. And He is still sitting at Gods right hand interceding and advocating, He’s there to sit forever, just because of man (You and I).
He also gave every man that is identified with Christ the Holy Spirit, to reside in them, to do the work of helping, directing, teaching, counseling, comforting, guiding, manifesting the life they posses in Christ and all that shows help. This Holy Spirit is the spirit of God. And He can’t function on his own without God, He is with us forever, helping us at all times. This is also to show that God is mindful of us.
Knowing that God is mindful of us is to our own benefit, to keep us from been robbed, deceived and destroyed by the devil.
No matter your present state, know that God is thinking of you, don’t think yourself out, or useless, God is mindful of you, He wants good for you. Just align yourself to the father’s love in Christ Jesus of thinking of you. Accept His love by believing in Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. Align yourself to his word to know more about Christ (yourself), Gods love and goodness for you.
Live with the help of the Holy Spirit as one that God is thinking of, God is mindful of you, He knows your present state and have the best for you, align yourself to His thoughts revealed in His word.

DECLARATION: Thank you Lord for being mindful of me, thank you for your love for me in Christ Jesus, thank you Lord.

GODLY IMPACT FOR TODAY.

THE WORK EXPECTED FROM US

“Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent”- John 6:29

Jesus was telling the people as seen in our opening scripture about the work of God. And he stated in clear terms what that work of God is. He said the work of God is to believe on the one God has sent. To believe and keep believing the one God has sent, which is Jesus Christ.
What are we to believe in Him? We are to believe His person, that He is the son of God whom God sent to deliver men from their sin through His death and resurrection. We are to believe in His works as the one that took the place of the punishment of the whole world for the world redemption unto God. We are to believe in all He has done for us by grace. We are to believe in what He is doing for us now, which is Him sitting at the right hand of God, which is advocating for us.
We are to believe everything about Christ, anything we will believe must be in line with Christ and his finished works.
And to believe things about Christ as the work God has called us to do, we must find out about him from the scriptures- The Bible. The message of the whole Bible centers on Jesus Christ, all to be found out and believed.
If we are faulty in believing, we will not be relevant in works of God. The devil will try to lie to us and deceive us to believe other things using the advantage of our faults, mistakes and things that surrounds us. Believing any other thing outside Christ and his finished works is a wrong work. We must fight every deceit, lies, imaginations and wrong believe against Christ and all He has done, with the word of God and openness to the Holy Spirit. This is the work we are called to do, Christ has done it all, we should just keep believing in the finished works and all other thing such as right living, manifestations and fulfilment in line with Gods word will follow.

DECLARATION: I do the works I’m called to do which is to believe all about Christ, I believe all, I say no to the devil deceits in Jesus name.

GODLY IMPACT FOR TODAY (Saturday, July 16, 2016)

IT’S A NEW DAY

“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it”- Psalms 118:24

Today is Gods day as everyday is the Lords day. And as it is, there a lot in it as benefits from the maker of it (God) for us to lay hold on and enjoy.
Joy and rejoicing is in today as Gods best, because it’s the Lord that made it, it’s your relationship with it that delivers the best in it to you. If you relate with this day based on the pains or mind of your initial experiences in previous days, you might not take full advantage of Gods best for you in this day.
This is entirely a new day, forget the pains, shortcomings, disappointments,discouragemens and bad times in the previous days, and launch forth into the deep of wealth and goodness that is potentially available for you today. Though don’t forget the lessons in previous days experiences, those happenings of the previous days are for your good if you are thinking and seeing in line with God (because God sees the best in every situation), no matter how bad they are, those lessons are part of those things to serve as your help in some decisions making today, alongside with the mind of God.
See today as a blessed day, you can achieve a lot today, be hopeful in the God of the days and years for the best as you go through this days. Thank God for today is another opportunity for you into greater heights and deeper depths in life and in Christ.
Approach the day with your actions, reactions and directions hinged on Gods word to get the best in the day. Everyday is Gods day, the day you get it right is your day and everyday can be your day provided you approach it right in line with Gods mind in Christ Jesus, through the Holy Spirit. I see this day delivering big for you.

DECLARATION: This is the day which the LORD has made for me to enjoy the goodness in it, I will rejoice and be glad in it, Glory to Jesus.

WITHOUT CEASING

“Pray without ceasing”- 1Thessalonians 5:17

Pray without ceasing, this is a short but powerful instruction, that keeps us in consciousness of our fellowship with God.
Praying without ceasing means praying at all times. Every time, any time, anywhere and everywhere. It’s not what to do at a specific period or place, though a specific period and place can be set out for it for no interference of any other thing or activities. But the act of praying is meant to be an all time thing.
For the purpose of clarity, praying is fellowshipping with God, communicating or chatting with God. Speaking to him and him speaking to you too. And this communication is a manifold one, there is discussion, asking, thanking, confessions all in alignment with His words. This should be done at all times. You might not be asking for something, but can be discussing with Him from His word. You might not even do that but confessing His words or thanking Him for all He has done physically and most importantly for all that which is written in His words about you in Christ. Doing all these will help stay conscious and utilize the fellowship we have with God by the word and the spirit. And when you do this with an open heart and sensitivity, God get back to you, it’s not a one way discussion but in two ways.
Also, we can’t talk about prayers without talking about the Holy Spirit, who has been given to the believer to help in the place of prayer, alongside help in other area because He is the believers helper. Depend on Him, surrender to Him and open your mouth to speak in the spirit (tongues) as He gives you utterance. With that, you are speaking to God and issues are been addressed about you in accordance to His word with Him also speaking back to you.
You can’t pray too much, because it’s an all time thing, engage in the act of prayer to Him in the authority and righteousness you have in Christ.

DECLARATION: I pray without ceasing and enjoy the communications with my father in it.

JESUS; OUR MODEL AND PROFILE

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith”- Hebrews 12:2

Oh! Glory to God, what a way and direction for us out of everything that is not in the mind of God for us, that way is Jesus. He’s the perfect model and profile for us. We are to keep our gaze on Him, looking steadfastly on Him as the author and finisher of our faith. Meaning if we are to walk in faith (which is the only thing that any man can walk with to please and get anything from God), Jesus should be who we will look on. Without Him in view and in place, our faith is shattered.
The more we look at Him, the more our faith grows and the more our situation changes from that present situation to the one in the mind of God.
Jesus is the total expression of the mind of God for us, He’s the showcase, the model and the profile of us in the mind of God.
Looking unto Him establish a reality of who we are and that’s what the father (Almighty God ) wants us to become. And that’s what we become when we keep looking at him.
Looking on Jesus is the only thing that delivers that change to you, not looking at the situation and world. If you look at the world, your life won’t get better than what the world can offer and the world can’t offer any good thing, so look on Jesus.
But, how can we look on Jesus, is it to put his photograph and start looking at it with our physical eyes? No! That’s not it, you look at him with your spirit through the word, getting a truth that pertains to Him from the scriptures and you keep meditating on it, acknowledging that reality about Him. And what you are seeing with your spirit transcends into your mind and your living in the physical will conform as a manifestation of that model and profile in Jesus. And, It’s not look, it’s looking a continuous process, over and over again.
See Jesus and not yourself in that your death, sick, sinful habit, hopeless, poverty or any undesired and unglorifying state, and there will be a change for you, It works.
I order a conformity of your life to what God has in mind for you in Jesus name. Jesus is the Lord and He is the Lord over your manifestations in Jesus name. I await your testimony.

DECLARATION: Jesus is my model, He’s my life, I see Him always and my manifestations conforms to His life in Jesus name.

MORE BLESSED TO GIVE

“I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive”- Acts 20:35

Our point of stress from our opening verse is the word of the Lord that says, it is more blessed to give than to receive.
Receiving is not a bad thing, but a good thing, in fact it’s blessed to receive, but more blessed to give.
It is a higher level of blessing on the part of those that gives than on the parts of those that receives, it is more blessed to give, though both are blessed.
Our mentality should not always be to receive and receive, we should step up by giving. Out of that which you’ve received, you give.
Everyone that gave in the scriptures, ever had before they gave, they were blessed before they gave and their giving makes them more blessed- happier, relevant, fulfilled, joyous and impactful.
There is always something to give from us, either with us or in us. And as you give it, you are more blessed and satisfied, increase and enlargement will become yours and with that there will also be more to give at other times.
No matter how small our giving is, though due to our capacity, the issue is that according to the words of God, we are more blessed.
All that comes into our hands or that is in us, is not just for us, there is a portion of it meant to be released for us to be more blessed.
Our giving should be to God and humanity. Though God doesn’t spend money, but He receives the honor in it, when we give towards the establishments of kingdom in tithes, offerings, pledges and the likes. Giving to humanity is giving to people in the name of the Lord, supporting the weak, appreciating people and being a blessing to them.
God loves a cheerful giver, not the one giving to secure something or get something in return. Gods idea of giving is that we do it willingly, not compulsorily, but as we determined in our hearts to do.
We give because we are blessed. When we give we sow honor and we are more blessed.

DECLARATION: I’m a giver and I’m more blessed as I give, I give to the things of God and to people around me, Amen.
