When we let the Holy Spirit guide our every thought, we become united according to the mind of God. His plan for us is to act toward others as Jesus Himself related to those He came in contact with during His earthly ministry. When we behave in the supernatural like this, we supernaturally open the door to God’s blessings in our life.

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).
True joy—the kind that is so deep, so high, so wide, and so all-encompassing that it permeates our very being—comes from God. When we reach that point in our Christian walk where we feel it resonate through us, we’ll know it comes directly from Him. God’s plan is for us to be happy and glad-hearted in Him.

When we think about all the good things God has done for us and all the miracles He continues to work in our life, we can’t help but rejoice and give thanks for His mercy and love. Having a glad and thankful heart is one indication that we are beginning to exhibit the spiritual fruit that God makes possible

“But we are citizens of the state (commonwealth, homeland) which is in heaven, and from it also we earnestly and patiently await [the coming of] the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [as] Savior” (Philippians 3:20, AMP).

As Believers, although we are physically living in the world, this type of living arrangement is temporary. As God’s children and members of His divine family, our true and permanent residency is in heaven.

Often, we limit ourselves—and God—through our own doubt and unbelief. When we truly believe God’s Word, we let Him unlock and free our minds and spirits. His power is manifested in our lives, and we begin to see miracle after miracle.
