Ghanaian Gospel Artist : Nat Abbey is set for the release a new sing titled “Hanukkah” on May 19th

Ghanaian Gospel Reggae Icon, Nat Abbey also known as Arootical in the musical space, is set to release a new single titled Hanukkah. Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, commemorates the victory of the Jewish Maccabees over the Greek army and the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. While it is a Jewish holiday, Hanukkah symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and freedom over oppression.

GOETHESCHULE DIEBURG CUBE FOR FREEDOM PROJECT

Cube for Freedom project has been organized by the Goetherschule Dieburg to assist Ukraine during these trying times.

peace and freedom cube made up of 54 separate Plexiglas panels that each measure 40×40 cm has been created for this purpose by the art department and the school’s UNESCO project team.

Students from the chosen schools are to paint these 54 panels with acrylics on the themes of peace and freedom, and they are to be sent back to Germany. The artwork in this instance is mounted to metal frame and internally lighted. By placing nine panels on each square surface and putting the six surfaces together, huge cube is produced. The completed artwork can then be transported back to us via the return slip.

Since peace and freedom are among our most important values and unite everyone on all continents, we would be delighted to have you participate in our project. NEWS UPDATE: Instagram fined $402 million for failure in Children’s Data Protection

In a statement by the Ireland’s data privacy regulator, its has agreed to fine a record levy of $402 million against social network Instagram following an investigation into its handling of children’s data. Though the social media giant plans to appeal against the fine, a spokesperson for its parent company, Meta, said in an emailed statement.
Focused on child users between the ages of 13 and 17, the investigation, which began in 2020 targeted users who were allowed to operate business accounts, which facilitated the publication of the user’s phone number and/or email address.
Though Instagram updated its settings over a year ago and has since released new features to keep teens safe and their information private, the Meta spokesperson said. We disagree with how the fine was calculated and we are carefully reviewing the decision, the spokesperson also said.

NEWS UPDATE: Chelsea Sacks Head Coach Thomas Tuchel

The Blues Head Coach Thomas Tuchel was fired less than 24 hours after the club lost 1-0 to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League group stage. Though they haven’t being doing well, having lost two of their opening six Premier League fixtures.
The club management said in a statement that Tuchel will have a place in Chelsea’s history after an undisputable Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup win in his time there.




The management also added that it is the right time to make this transition as the the new ownership group reaches 100 days since taking over the club, and as it continues its hard work to take the club forward.
In the mean time, the club’s coaching staff will take charge of the team for training and the preparation of their upcoming matches as they make moves to appoint new head coach.

The people living in the Californians state have been admonished to reduce their energy usage in the busy hours of the afternoon and evening which of course a times when the grid is most stressed because of high demand, this is coming from The flex alerts.
If the instructions in the flex alerts isn’t adhered to, the state could face series of blackouts said the states’ Independent System Operator (ISO).
People are hereby urged to use less power between 4pm and 10pm local time on Monday (midnight and 6am UK time on Tuesday) under the latest alert. Also
people are urged to set their thermostats to 78F (25C) or higher, not using major appliances such as dishwashers and washing machines, and turning off
unnecessary lights.

NEWS UPDATE: Emmanuel Macron in a recent statement advises that people should turn down air con and heating to help France avoid ‘last resort’ forced energy cuts

The French President, Emmanuel Macron has said that he envisages that 10% in France’s energy usage be reduced in the coming weeks and months, of course
this applies to businesses and homes.
He urged peoples to turn down heating and air conditioning, also stressing the fact that forced cuts will be applied as a last option. Speaking recently
after a virtual meeting with the German Chancellor, Mr Macron revealed the plans to improve gas supplies to Germany in other to resolve the recent drop in
gas supplies from Russia. Of course his is due to the fact that Germany is super reliant on Russia for Gas than most EU Nations.
Though without a surprise from France’s part, Mr Macron demands electricity supply from Germany in other to make up for shortages caused by maintenance
protocols being carried out on French nuclear reactors.
