TEXT: PSALM 103:7
” He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel ”
Miracle-seekers will keep seeking miracles, and those who allow God to use them to work miracles will keep experiencing miracles upon miracles. It is easier for those who hunger for the working of miracles to have more miracles in their lives than those who are just after receiving miracles. So, as believers, seeking to understand the workings of the miraculous is more beneficiary than seeking to just receive miracles. From our text, Moses understood His ways, so, he had no need to cry for miracles, he was having it as needed, but the children of Israel who merely experienced the miracles needed to cry for miracles every day.
For you to understand the ways to the miraculous, you must be ready to respect every instruction of the Lord. The ways to signs and wonders is in total obedience to the instructions of the Lord. Moses couldn’t have become a miracle worker if he had not done all God asked him to do. God asked him to return to Egypt where he had been declared wanted for murder, Moses returned, when he was asked to put his hands in his bossom, he did, when he got to Egypt, he was asked to throw his rod down to become serpents, he did. As he was obeying the Lord, he was experiencing the wonders of the Lord. When you simply follow God’s instructions, it will be easy for signs and wonders to follow you.
The ways to the miraculous also lies in having time to fellowship with the Lord. You see, if you do not give enough time to really study your bible, listen to messages of other servants of the Lord and pray in the spirit, it will be very difficult to work in the miraculous. You need time, I mean quality time to be in His presence daily praising God, reading your bible and praying prayers of faith before you could begin to understand the ways of the Lord. Moses was always on the mountain(His presence) fasting and praying often. Luke 24:49 says
Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry…until you are endued with power from on high.”
The anointing of God is available in the presence of God if one has enough time to fellowship with Him. The longest time the Israelites fasted in the wilderness was 3 days at once because they were looking for miracles but Moses had to fast up till 40 days at once because he wanted to work miracles. The longer we have time for Him, the better his presence rob on us. The Apostles of Jesus said in Acts 6:4 ” but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word”. Working in the miraculous requires having time for Him. And lastly, the way to the miraculous is to keep attempting great things for the Lord. Pray for the sick, ask the dead to rise, command deliverance for the oppressed in the name of Jesus etc and signs and wonders will follow you.
Confession
Father, let my desire to live in your presence daily increase so that I can walkk in the miraculous in the name of Jesus.
