“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves” (James 1:22).
We derive no benefit from listening to God’s Word passively with our intellectual minds only. To get true spiritual illumination in our lives, we must let His Word sink into our hearts, incorporate it into our lives, and live it.
