“For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]” (Ephesians 1:5, AMP).
As Christians, we’re no ordinary mortals, but children of God. This makes us brothers and sisters with Jesus, which is an amazing blessing. We have a divine inheritance as members of God’s own family. We can’t help but rejoice and give thanks when we meditate on this truth.
