“The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes” (Psalm 118:22, 23).
During Jesus’ earthly ministry, the world rejected Him outright. It refused to accept what He did, taught, or stood for, but what He was transformed into after His resurrection was beautiful and marvelous to everyone. When we follow Jesus, we will receive the same reaction the world had toward Him. But when we are faithful to His Word, we take on the same marvelous beauty as His.
