DESOLA is an Award Winning Singer Songwriter Gospel and Inspirational Music Artist.
DESOLA came into the UK music scene late 2014 with an immediate release of her debut album titled REST. This was immediately followed by her sold out album launch (in records 2 weeks) on 14/12/14.
DESOLA has since gone from strength to strength in the UK music industry. She has been nominated and won several awards such as Gospel Touch Music Awards (GTMA) “Critic Choice Winner” 2016 and (GTMA) People’s Choice Award Winner 2018, Praisetek Gospel Music Award RnB Artist 2016, BEFFTA, Best Female Nominee 2016, African Gospel Music and Media Awards “Discovery Artist of Excellence Nominee 2018, Women of Worship “Honorary of the Year” 2018, BEFFTA Award Music Artist 2018 for Outstanding contribution through music among many others. In 2019, she was nominated by Maranathan Awards in Kenya for Best Gospel Artist in Diaspora, Best Album INTIMACY and Best Supplication/Worship song in May Your Kingdom Come.
MOBO awards UK, announced DESOLA as Gospel Artist to Watch in 2017. She has headlined major shows as such at the London African Music Festival in 2015, Vortex Jazz Club in 2017 and features in several events anx concertd that includes in 2016, the Shepherd Bush Empire, London supporting Annastasia Baker sharing same stage with Erica Campbell of the Mary Mary.
Desola released her 2nd Album titled INTIMACY on the 15th of Dec 2018. She has since released two stand out singles “May Your Kingdom Come” and “Jesus Save Me” which has won her two awards and a regular TV Playlist selection on the TBN UK TV station.
